Nick has been training in martial arts for 18 years, originally starting in Kenpo Karate.  He is a former amatuer and professional Heavyweight Champion and is still an active MMA fighter.

Nick's favorite MMA fighter is Jon "Bones" Jones, and when asked why he likes to train and fight he said, "I'm more myself when I'm unleashed and uncontrolled than when I'm behaved and civilized."
